Fatewritten (the “Service”) is operated by LudoMagus GmbH, Alter Schlachthof 33, 76131 Karlsruhe, Germany (“we”, “us”). The Service offers interactive romantasy fiction: stories that are generated with the help of artificial intelligence and shaped by your preferences and choices. You must be at least 18 years old to use Fatewritten. Stories may contain mature themes intended for adult readers. By creating an account you confirm that you are 18 or older.
You sign in with your email address using one-time codes or sign-in links — there is no password. Keep access to your email account secure; anyone with access to your inbox could access your Fatewritten account. During the alpha phase, access may be limited to invited email addresses, and invitations are personal and non-transferable.
The Service is currently in an early-access (alpha) phase. Features may change, be removed, or occasionally break; availability is not guaranteed, and stories or account data may in exceptional cases be reset. We appreciate your patience and feedback while we build.
Parts of a story beyond the free reading depth can be unlocked with one-time purchases. Prices are shown at checkout, include statutory German VAT (currently 19%), and are processed by our payment provider Stripe. Purchases unlock digital content that is delivered immediately: by completing a purchase you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you thereby lose your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content once delivery has begun. Statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
Stories, illustrations, and related content are generated by artificial intelligence based on your inputs. All content is fiction; any resemblance to real persons or events is unintentional. Generated content can occasionally be unexpected or imperfect; we may regenerate or adjust content to fix quality issues.
You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to read and keep the stories and images generated for you, for private, non-commercial use. You may not resell, republish, or commercially exploit generated content without our prior written consent.
You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to disrupt or circumvent its technical or payment mechanisms, using it to generate content that is unlawful, or infringing the rights of others through your inputs. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
The Service itself — including its software, design, branding, and the Fatewritten name — is owned by LudoMagus GmbH or its licensors and protected by law.
You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms; paid content you have already unlocked remains accessible unless the termination results from your breach.
We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, and injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations (obligations whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible in the first place), limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Any further liability is excluded. Liability under mandatory statutory provisions remains unaffected.
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. We will announce material changes in the app or by email with reasonable notice; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
